The Railcar Media Cabinet by Croft House is handmade locally in Los Angeles, California. A rustic, modern combination of industrial steel and reclaimed wood, this cabinet is able to seamlessly fit into any room’s aesthetic. The wood boards are reclaimed Douglas Fir, salvaged locally from architecture throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding Southern California area. The natural wax finish sinks into the old growth grain and enhances the tone of the wood to a warm, red brown. A solid steel detail defines clean and precise lines, creating a natural boundary around the rustic boards and dispelling the farmhouse feel of an all wood piece. The use of negative space through open shelving carefully balances the solid body of the piece with an airy lightness.
The interior of the cabinet contains adjustable shelving for functional and flexible storage. Pairs beautifully with the Mossam Coffee Table and Arden Side Tables.
